MANSFIELD — Superintendent Teresa Murphy is pleased to announce that Mansfield High School will host their annual career fair for students next month.
WHEN:
Wednesday, March 11 from 6:30-8 p.m.
WHERE:
Mansfield High School gymnasium, 250 East St.
WHAT:
The Mansfield High School Career Fair is designed to give students the opportunity to learn more about career fields and the opportunities available to them after graduation, while also allowing younger students to begin gathering information to plan their future career paths.
This is the fifth annual Mansfield High School Career Fair, and is open to all students and families in Mansfield and surrounding towns. The event is free for all.
Students are encouraged to bring copies of their resume to share with employers.
Representatives from a wide variety of industries will be on hand, including health and wellness, public safety, technical trades, civil service, military, finance, child care, hospitality and more. Students will have the chance to network and connect with potential employers and speak with professionals in these industries.
In total, there will be 30 careers and more than a dozen schools and instructions represented at the fair.
“The Career Fair is a great way for students to explore potential careers and speak directly with professionals in the fields they are interested in,” Mansfield High School Principal Mary Watkins said. “We encourage all students to attend the fair and explore the many career opportunities that are available to them.”
